Although I had a dental appointment and missed it, it appears from Hillary’s website that a fine light, but strictly scripted web chat was had. Any public chat is not going to produce the words that most PUMAs would love to hear. We can’t know the details or what is really going on in “negotiations” in preparation for the Convention.
However, one of the things that Hillary Clinton made clear in her chat, is that she is still pushing her platform at Convention. It sounded today, as on other recent occasions like she has chosen her health plank as her utmost concern. While stressing that she is supporting Barack Obama’s universal health care, we must wonder if the proposed plank if a hybrid of the two, or that in setting forward she hopes to affect it as Senator.
Even as Clinton’s was engaged in the delivery of her message and stressed her support of Barack Obama, said senator was fending off reporters questioning him regarding upset Clinton supporters (You know, us PUMAs!)

In the mean time Will Bower got to play on FOX and CNN today. FOX News is likely to have an agenda relative to McCain’s nomination, even under the guise of fair reporting. However, at least they were willing to have Will on their show. Plus, they were the ones to follow through with the above questions to Obama. Try reading the CNN transcript from the link below the video, and see just how useless this kind of news is. The lines are obviously designed to fit on the new gas pump screens and elevators.

Despite the disappointment many of us feel, over what wasn’t said , I think this was a successful day, because many fronts were covered, including another Prowl. Did you see the new Denver Group Ad yet? See it Here. Did you see the ABC blurb on Clinton and the fact she is not ruled out as nominee? See it here. The point is to fight and keep fighting. Riverdaughter has an interesting blog on Unity here. Bill Clinton appears scheduled to speak on the third night Just before the VP’s speech. See here. In the mean time, the Women’s Media Center held forth today on some anticipated speeches for the Convention and their historical context.

Barack Obama and John McCain are running neck and neck. Impossible? It would seem so. Republican President Bush still has less than a 30 percent approval rating. Headlines blare that unemployment and inflation are up -…
