Since this article was written, Napolitano and Richardson have both been named to Cabinet spots. This, I think, heightens the poignancy of the argument. It also says something about Obama’s focus on “pragmatism” as opposed to traditional Democratic values. Dare we say that Democrats in Republicans states tend to be more conservative?

This might not be the only reason California is going to cease fish stocking. After all there is a bit of a budget crunch! My question is: are we going to stop issuing fishing licenses at the same time? How are we going to achieve ecological balance otherwise? Or is money from the cost of the permits more Important?
