I’ve always bought “American” Ford Vehicles…. but.. if the Big 3 take / get help from us Right to Work States.. non-union worker here.. they can forget me buying another one of their products.. It’ll be foreign made from that day forward..
Union greed just didn’t know when to ease up.. Goodbye Big 3… Blame nobody but yourselves..

Lol, fba, I live in a right to work state as well. As someone who has worked in the construction field for more than a few years, I’ve spent a little time avoiding the non-union gate. Every day the right-to-workers show up and walk through that gate. They have families to support. They often work for good companies; some offer medical benefits.
Their companies got the job because they submitted a lower bid. Sometimes they have a better, stronger, faster way of doing the job. Often that is not the case.
Companies live or die by what they missed in they bid process.
When something goes wrong, how much meat off the bone should they take? Where should it come from? Materials usually cost around the same amount, although pennies can be shaved, by substitution, if you can get away with it and an observer like me doesn’t catch it.
That leaves efficiency and labor, and that has been the focus since the beginning of the Industrial Age.
You have been misinformed by 30 years of right wing rhetoric, that allows you to believe, somehow, that labor is greedy when what you see in the big three is last vestige of a reminder that all workers should be earning more. Let’s not forget that in just 2004, during the Kerry – Bush election run, we acknowledged that the pay parity was the lowest it had been in 50 years. We have had, what, one minimum wage increase since then?
Do you really think that Unions have anything to do with what has happened in our financial system?
Bushco promulgated small business. Do you really think small business owners are so much smarter than the rest of us? Or is something else at play? Like Union bashing? Benefits demolishing, like no health, or retirement.
Or maybe you would have preferred your privatized retirement account about now.
