Caucus Away!
You know they tried. Here is the Iowa Independent’s View. What is the next step? We don’t want to wait for no stinkin’ Rules Committee!
Caucuses still allowed in this year’s Dem platform

[Caucuses won’t be banned for 2012 — at least not in the Democratic Party platform. Last-ditch Hillary Clinton supporters tried to get anti-caucus language into the platform this weekend at a platform committee meeting in Pittsburgh, but failed.]

Edwards In Iowa
In perusing the II further we find this nugget about John Edwards. They essentially said first, unh uh, and then who knows? I wonder what those Edwards delegates are thinking tonight? She was the better populist candidate! The II usually tries to stay sort of neutral. That they even ran this article without support has me wondering a little if there is some foot shuffling going on.
Did Edwards cost Clinton the nomination? Maybe not.

[A top aide to Hillary Clinton says if revelations about John Edwards’ extramarital affair had come out before the Iowa caucuses, Clinton would be the presumptive nominee today.]

Platform Shenannigans, and Obama’s Book
You all remember, just a bit ago the DNC sent out letters to it’s members asking that they become involved in an open meeting discussion for the upcoming DNC Platform. They wanted you to have actual meetings and send your ideas to the BARACK OBAMA WEBSITE! We knew then it had to be hooey. Obama ran on a platform. What was he going to do? Make up a whole new one?
Clinton ran on a platform. Edwards and all the other “remaindered” delegates still had their agenda. There was plenty of platform material to go around, and after a lot of head bumping, some agreement is usually reached. Typically the nominee gets the lion’s share of the finished platform.
Now I know some Clinton supporters’ thought they might try and work within this system. I’ll just say this. Stop talking now and walk away. Anything else you tell these troglodytes will only trap you further in their maze. Come back. You understand when you do that there will be some raised hackles. Trust is earned. It will take a little while. However, you’ll be glad you did.
Cause, as you can you see, from commonsensegram’s blog, Obama already wrote his book. Should we check to see if Axelrod was the ghost?
[WE Have Been Bamboozled Again!
Updated- let me state for the record that I understand that candidates do publish policy books to get the platform out to the public and showcase their policies, both President Clinton and President Bush did so. My outrage is due to the fact that IMHO the public was misled when the DNC and the Obama campaign invited the voters to meetings to give their input into the platform. The platform itself of course is not book length and the book will cover other aspects of the campaign.

I have NEVER voted for a Republican for any office but I will vote for McCain this time because Obama and his pushy, unethical supporters stole the Democratic Party nomination. I have voted in EVERY ELECTION since 1951.when I was old enough to vote.

I’m so sick of all of this, but mostly as a progressive democrat, to be bamboozled the way we have, with this whatever you want him to be syncophant..Bought and paid for by our own party…and for what? and why?????
Where are we headed with this man? Do you know..does Pelosi, or Kerry, or Kennedy, or Reid know? Or did they just not want to see Hillary, who has more smarts than all of them put together and works harder than all of them, tirelessly and puts her money where her mouth is..to be defeated because she wants to accomplish something real for America?
Why did the Democratic Party sell themselves, on this man, who has as much experience as I do, to be our next POTUS?
Someone in the media should take that question and investigate it. (that is if we still have some reporters that have the balls to step up!!!

I don’t know where I have been but I am just now seeing things about the Donna brazile/Karl Rove connection. Also
what is all of this about Rev. Leah Daughtry running the DNC? What about the banner saying “They Owe Us”? in the Church. Another Jeremiah Wright right here in the DNC. No wonder Brazile was so Brazen. The two of them along with Rove in the advisory position, called the shots and the “men”, The Dean brothers, Pelosi, Kerry, Kennedy, Reid,
Rangel and Clayburn all just let the low, low, dishonesty and cheating take place. I see a definite conflict of interest on the part of both Daughtry and Brazile.

Just realized I included Pelosi as a man. I am not too fond of her anyway!

The media and DNC did us all in. I used to believe in the most “trusted name in news.” The more I watched and listened I caught on. It was a shame that a comedy show like”Saturday Night Live” had to bring the bias of the media to the forefront. Where were the journalists?
Where was the media reporting on anything but the diversion of race. Real issues were confronting Americans. We had a right to know the candidates. The journalists should be held accountable for their tabloid spins and promoting a candidate. Why didn’t they ever report on John Edwards? I hope his delegates are free to vote for whoever they choose and are not commited to “Obama.” I’d like to know what we as American citizens can do to stop the tabloid press. I’d also like to know if they broke any rules that they can be held accountable for? If, Obama gets elected it’s because of the journalists.
