Take a trip to the store and stuff changes. The first AP article said, despite the title, that the suspension was Obama’s idea. However, the SFGate now is indicating that Obama wants to have the debate on Friday. See:

I don’t know about you, but a one person debate sounds more like a speech to me. How will this drama play out? I just heard from PocPuma that even Rendell thinks it a good idea to take care of business! And really, can you get any more snarky, then over the “deal with more than one thing at once” comment? They are both senators first after all! Interesting maneuvering going on.

Obama has refused – so far – to either suspend his campaign in order to go to DC or delay the debate until Monday or Tuesday.
