What Gary Said:
Vote, or risk having your vote stolen
Posted on September 20, 2008 by garychapelhill
[I sincerely believe that Obama for America intends to try to steal the presidential election, just as George W. Bush did in 2000. Obama’s track record proves that he has absolutely zero integrity and an utter disregard for democratic prinicples. That is the primary reason that I do not support him and think that he would be a danger to our country, and perhaps put the final nail in the coffin of our democratic process. People like Bush and Obama want to make voters irrelevant. They care only about the corporate vote, which is cast not with a ballot, but with a greenback.]

Registration
If you need to register to vote, contact your State, City or County Elections Board. A voter registration with either party’s candidate puts you in their databank. If you register in the field with one of the partisan groups, it’s going to be a lot like buying something over the phone, with someone you don’t know. Most public agencies are online and many have web pages where you can verify your current registration. Print a copy of the page to take along with you just in case.
How PUMAs will vote
There are ongoing debates among PUMAs as to how they should cast their vote. Most are still committed to “NOBAMA”.
Some democratic PUMAs will vote the McCain/Palin ticket. Some have made a decision that they prefer this candidate. Other proponents of this voting approach state that this is, in essence, two votes against Obama, while a blank vote would only be one against. In a close race, therefore, these proponents believe that a blank vote is the same as a vote for Obama because he is slightly ahead.
Others are still considering leaving a blank for president, and voting for the rest of the ticket. These advocates argue that the point is to make a statement, and they do not feel comfortable voting republican. In this case, even if Obama wins, they feel, the point will have been made.
In the case of a third party vote, advocates generally are going to vote because they like that candidate, even if the rest of their vote will be democrat. However, since the likelihood of these candidates winning is small, the McCain/Palin proponents again argue, that the effect will be the same as a vote for Obama.
